Not Tax or Legal Advice

Hello Sales is a document processing tool, not a tax advisory service. Our service does not constitute tax, legal, or compliance advice. The extraction and validation results provided by Hello Sales are generated by automated systems and may contain errors or omissions.

You are responsible for independently verifying the accuracy and completeness of any certificate data processed through our service. Decisions about whether to accept a tax exemption certificate should be made in consultation with your own tax advisor or legal counsel.

Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for high accuracy in our OCR extraction and validation, we do not guarantee that results will be error-free. Factors that may affect accuracy include:

• Document quality (low-resolution scans, faxes, photos)
• Handwritten entries on certificates
• Non-standard or amended certificate forms
• Changes to state tax rules that have not yet been incorporated

You should not rely solely on Hello Sales output for compliance decisions.

Account Responsibilities

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring that certificates you upload are ones you are authorized to process.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents that you do not have the right to process or that contain information unrelated to tax exemption certificates.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or extract the source code of our service.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-access the service beyond its intended use.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Intellectual Property

The Hello Sales service, website, logo, and related materials are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of the service does not grant you any ownership rights.

You retain ownership of any certificates and data you upload. By uploading certificates, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing the service.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Hello Sales available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hello Sales and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Tax liabilities, penalties, or interest resulting from reliance on our service output.
• Loss of data, revenue, or business arising from use of or inability to use the service.
• Errors or inaccuracies in extraction or validation results.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hello Sales and its operators from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.
